📱 Mobile (iPhone, iPad, Android)

blackbear works as an installable web app on your phone or tablet. It feels like a native app — full screen, home screen icon, works offline. Here's how to add it:

🍎 iPhone & iPad (Safari)

    Open blackbear in Safari

    Go to my.blackbear.app in Safari. (Must be Safari — Chrome and Firefox on iOS don't support "Add to Home Screen.")

    Tap the Share button

    Tap the share icon (square with upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.

    Tap "Add to Home Screen"

    Scroll down in the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".

    Tap "Add"

    The blackbear icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open the full-screen app.

🤖 Android (Chrome)

    Open blackbear in Chrome

    Go to my.blackbear.app in Chrome.

    Tap the menu (⋮)

    Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

    Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"

    Chrome may show "Install app" if a PWA manifest is detected, or "Add to Home screen" otherwise. Either works.

    Tap "Install"

    The blackbear icon appears on your home screen. Opens full-screen, just like a native app.

💡 Tip: The installed web app works offline, stores everything on your device, and gets updates automatically when you're online. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon via the App Store and Play Store.

🔑 Activate your license

  1. 1 Open blackbear on any device
  2. 2 Go to Settings → License
  3. 3 Paste your license key from the email
  4. 4 Done! Your license works on up to 5 devices
